I didn’t start the week thinking about rest, but then I found it all around me. Labor Day is the signal that summer has ended along with the relaxing pace we all enjoyed for a few months. Fall has always been a busy time with busy schedules and new routines. As we settle into these new routines, it’s important to make sure time is scheduled for rest, a time to “relieve weariness by cessation of exertion or labor.” My pets have been providing great role models for this much needed rest.
